Fellowship at Grace
Grace Church is known for its welcome, and its abundant hospitality. We offer many seasonal dinners and receptions, and many events that allow our diverse congregation to build lasting friendships.
Winterfair
Every first weekend in February, our space is transformed into a bustling market, as we sell clothing, children’s toys, furniture, housewares, baked goods and lunches to raise money for special projects, programs, and outreach at Grace. In the evening, we gather for a silent auction and gala. The Fair truly is an intergenerational event, and brings together both new and longtime parishioners in service to the church.
20s/30s Group
Young professionals at Grace meet to socialize, see the sights of the city and discuss issues pertinent to their faith. Highlights include our Theology on Tap series, and our annual party at the rectory.
Senior Luncheon
Twice a year, in the fall and spring, Grace offers a luncheon for its “Retirees, Seniors, and Opinionated Elders”. This luncheon is a chance for Grace to say thank you for all the ways these talented individuals offer their time and energy to the life and service of our church. (By reservation).
Foyer Groups
Foyer Groups are small groups of parishioners who gather at individual’s homes or in restaurants about once a month throughout the year to share meals and conversation together. This is a great way to make new friends and build relationships.
Annual Parish Dinner
Grace Church’s Annual Dinner is held every November on All Saint’s Sunday. We gather to celebrate our commitment to the family of Grace, as we complete our stewardship campaign and pledge ingathering this Sunday.
Seasonal Hospitality
Throughout the year, Grace Church offers many opportunities to gather, deepen our friendships, and share good meals together. We gather as well for annual receptions after Advent Vespers, for special Evensongs, and for our Winterlight Epiphany celebration.
Pet Blessing
Annually on the Sunday nearest October 4, Saint Francis of Assisi day, parishioners and friends are invited to bring their pets to the church to receive a blessing.
