The Reverend Stephen D. Muncie
The Rev Stephen Muncie began to serve as the fourteenth rector of Grace Church in 2004. A native of Kentucky, Steve grew up in a military household and has lived in Panama, Germany, and Taiwan.
After studies at Antioch College, Miami University, and the Vanderbilt University Divinity School, he was ordained in the Diocese of Southern Ohio in 1982.
Steve served as the organizing priest and the first rector of St. Francis Episcopal Church in Springboro, Ohio.
In January 2000, Bishop Herbert Thompson, Jr., called him to serve as Canon Missioner of the Diocese of Southern Ohio. Active in diocesan and national church ministries, Steve currently serves as Legislative Secretary for the House of Bishops. He is the father of two adult children.
The Reverend Dr. John P. McGinty
A native of the Boston area, John is the oldest of the six children of John and Mary McGinty. He attended Roman Catholic schools through college and graduate school.
John was ordained to the priesthood in 1983 and obtained a doctorate in theology in 1990 from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, Italy.
He has served in five parishes in Scotland and the United States, as well as teaching systematic theology at Saint John’s Seminary in Brighton, Massachusetts.
Moving to New York in 2010, John was the first director of the Communication Ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island. John was received as priest in the Episcopal Church in 2011.
Paul Richard Olson
Paul Olson has served as Organist and Choirmaster at Grace Church since 1992. He serves also as Music Specialist in the Grace Church School. A native of the Pacific Northwest, he holds degrees in Music from Pacific Lutheran University and the
University of Oregon, where he graduated a Pi Kappa Lamba scholar. Paul has done additional graduate performance studies at the University of Washington, the Eastman School of Music, Eton (UK), Westminister Choir College, and Indiana University.
In addition to his busy church and temple duties, Paul maintains an active schedule as a chamber musician, accompanist, and recitalist. He appears regularly as organ soloist and accompanist with major church choirs and choral societies in New York City and along the West and Eastern coasts.
Sally Larson
Sally Larson is Parish Administrator of Grace Church. Sally is the voice heard on the phone and the welcoming presence in the parish office at the bottom of the stair.
Sandra Joseph
Sandra Joseph cares for the financial recordkeeping and finances in general at Grace Church. Sandra joined the parish staff in 2011.
